PHASES

PHASES is an audio and video installation that was created during a creative workshop in a recently established Nida Art Colony. This installation conveys the changing atmosphere of a small resort town during different seasons by audio and video means.

Audio composition: Egidijus Surma (Lumotree), Linas Strockis (Fewnolder). Vocals: Giedrius Širka (Golden Parazyth). Violin: Lina Lapelytė.

Materiality: a video projector and its beam that creates a shadow of a live tree on a wall.

FLOW

FLOW is an audio and video installation that was exhibited under the open sky on a meadow near the Baltasis Bridge in Vilnius. This installation conveys the issues related to a river bank that is used as a public city space by audio and video means. The images are projected on 13 screens and 3 volumetric constructions that form a partially closed and autonomous space of the work of art.

+32 is a video installation that was exhibited during the festival ENTER 2008 in Šiauliai and at the Kultflux art platform in Vilnius. Experimental music performers Tomas Grunskis, Denisas Šafoval and others contributed to this installation.

Materiality: a video projector and cardboard elements on a vertical surface.

COLECTIVE MEMORY

COLECTIVE MEMORY is a video installation that was exhibited in the media art festival ENTER 2009, in Šiauliai during the performances of experimental sound artists Tomas Grunskis, Denisas Šafoval and Tautvydas Bajerkevičius. The installation was also shown at the modern experimental music festival Jauna Muzika 2010 (Young Music), Vilnius.

Materiality: a video projection on a thousand plastic cups installed on a vertical surface.

PATTERNS

PATTERNS is a video installation that was created in a workshop Tekstai Yra Čia(Texts Are Here) during the Kaunas Textile Biennale. The fragments of texts read live by poet K. Navakas were projected on lobby stairs.

FRIDAYROUND is an audio and video performance that was created for the electronic music and clubbing culture conference The Baltic Electronics that took place at the National Gallery of Art, Vilnius. This performance shows the journey of a clubber on a Friday night that starts from the office and ends at dawn.
